September 3 - CLF and BA

I took a long weekend off and it was nice to come back to a solid selling in oil-related stocks. There are a lot of interesting charts in this sector today. My only trade today was CLF.

I did not take the BA trade, but the chart shows an interesting C&H after capitulation.

Anarco,

Excellent trade in CLF! Yes, there were some nice setups today. FLS (which Jamie has been trading) setup a 15min NRIB near yesterday's low for a nice short trade.

Hey Jim~

Yes. CLF worked out nicely. It is quite upsetting when there is a big move and for one reason or another one is not able to participate.

Today, I also added FLS to my WL (after reading yesterday's post from Jamie). I am looking at the 3min chart for FLS and I see a nice bear flag at the base of the previous day low. It is also interesting that FLS does not have a lot of daily volume, but it seems to move very nicely.

Are you able to do any trading these days?

Cheers,
anarco

Anarco,

I have only been trading about 1 day per week since late July. I have been focusing on consulting work during the summer slowdown (and on sending a child off to college). I caught a great trade today on a weekly low BO. This is a slight new twist that I have not posted before. I will post a couple of charts on WSW's blog.

It sounds good: weekly low BO :-)
Looking forward to those charts Jim!
