This was a target trade to the $35.00 area. $35.00 is a major daily PP and although I normally would have taken a partial there, I did not want to risk staying in the trade because the market is kind of crazy these days and I do not seem to be able to understand the sometimes extreme reactions to key indicators (Mas, Fib ext, PPs, etc.).

Good exit in LDK! I am going to have to add that back to my WL. I thought there were no shares available for shorting at IB, but it must have been a different stock (I have not looked in quite a while).

No, I did not have any issues shorting LDK today. But I had issues shorting SKF yesterday. I tried entering twice and there were no shares available :-(

Jamie told me there is a column you can add in TWS that will show you if shares are available or not, that way you don't have to risk trying to short and not getting filled or getting filled later.
You may already use the column, but it was new to me. A great feature that saves me a lot of time.

It "was" shortable a few weeks ago, but I am not sure anymore.
We will have to learn the Long side only if things continue like this ...
BTW, UYG 2x long Fin is shortable at Scottrade. Go long UYG if want to short SKF. Interesting
